Publishing my work has always been a dream of mine, and now I can sort of check that item off of my bucket list. Sure, I didn’t publish my own work, but a few of my projects were featured in fellow copywriter, Andy Maslen’s latest book: Persuasive Copywriting: Using Psychology to Influence, Engage and Sell.
I was incredibly flattered to be asked to contribute some of my projects to this book and even more flattered when I found out the section I was contributing to was all about using comedy and copywriting.
According to Andy’s site: “Persuasive Copywriting takes you deep inside customers’ brains. You’ll learn the relationship between selling and storytelling. And the market-tested techniques that get people to engage with, and be persuaded by, your copy.”
It feels like yesterday that I was a budding young copywriter soliciting others for advice and industry book recommendations, and now my work is featured in one! And a book by a best-seller nonetheless.
